2005-2008 : PhD thesis in the Laboratoire de Physique des Matériaux (Phymat), UMR 6630 CNRS/Université de Poitiers : "Study by atomic-scale simulations of the formation of dislocation loops from surface ledges"

This PhD thesis was performed under supervision of Dr. Sandrine Brochard, Dr. Laurent Pizzagalli and Dr. Pierre Beauchamp. The subject was dealing with the study by atomic-scale simulations of the very first stages of plasticity in strained materials, in particular the nucleation of dislocation from several surface ledges.
